Baktaash “BT” Sorkhabi is a non profit creative director in Southern California WITH over a decade of both public and private sector experience leveraging the power of design to restore environments, reshape neighborhoods, empower communities and improve public health.

Baktaash (who also goes by BT), is the creative director at City Fabrick, a nonprofit design studio in Southern California. He is also the founder of Longbeachize, an award-winning website sharing stories about the people, places, and perspectives that define Long Beach. His impact on the built environment in Southern California has been recognized by Smithsonian Magazine, ABC News, The American Institute of Architects, The American Planning Association, Urbanize LA, Planetizen, and Archinect. In 2013 he was named a top 40 under 40 by the Long Beach Post.
